Creating Experience through Form lines - Tangrams
This was a group assignment based on the incorporation of tangrams in each group’s theme. Our group was assigned the theme ‘kids learning aid’. It was mandatory for us to make one storybook.
In this project we used tangrams for kids learning. We made book A to Z in which they can learn while playing with tangrams.
We also made story books for kids for ages 2 to 5 years old.
Kid Learning Aid is a holistic Approach. It incorporates the ideas of activity based learning, child friendliness and inclusive education.
Our objective behind making this:
• Our objective is to create an experiential learning process that is fun and at the same time offers children a sense of knowledge and understanding of surrounding.
• We are creating a simple learning process through Tangrams where children will be learning objects through simple representation.
• It includes basic learning of Alphabet, Reading, triggering the touch and feeling sensation.

Kid Learning Aid - Kid Learning Aid is a holistic Approach . It incorporates the ideas of activity based learning, child friendliness and inclusive education . Learning aids are available according to the three types of learners: visual, auditory and kinesthetic.
A study shows that a child will retain his learning more correctly if there are some experiences attached to it. After learning it shows that a child’s development flourishes when it is associated with some games instead of some textbooks. Playful Learning helps the child to grasp faster and develop a cognitive thinking.
Our topic was teaching aid where we had to make an educational book while incorporating tangram elements in it. We first brainstormed all the possible topics we could make the book about. Out of all the ideas, we unanimously came to a decision to make two books: one would be an alphabet book and the other would be a storybook. These would be inclusive; they would consist of braille for visually impaired children. The alphabet book would have pictures made out of tangrams. The storybook would consist of two stories where the characters would be made out of tangrams.
